Trying to approach women on the streets wasn’t happening either.

You see, I’ve been EXTREMELY shy my whole life. It started at a very young age and didn’t get much better with time.

Growing up, my friends would always push me towards attractive women and I would literally RUN in the other direction!

At that time, Internet Dating was just starting out and people were joining online dating sites in massive numbers. I had heard that some guys were meeting some amazing women online.

I thought, why not give it a try?

So I hopped on my roommate’s computer, turned it on, and starting surfing the web. I searched for Internet dating sites and I found a site called “Matchmaker.” Well, after scanning through some of the “women searching for men” profiles I was FLOORED!

I couldn’t believe all the HOT women on this site!!

There were blonds, redheads, sexy exotic women, YOU NAME IT, all around my age and super intelligent! So I quickly signed up, wrote up a profile, and started responding to as many ads as possible.

This is GREAT! I’m going to meet all these HOT women!

Well, it didn’t quite work out that way.

My initial results were NOT GOOD! I was not getting ANY responses! I would fire off as many as ten emails a night, trying to get a response… No luck! I continued to be IGNORED!

This did NOT feel good.

It was a serious blow to my self-esteem.

I mean, I considered myself to be a great guy with a lot to offer. But, nobody was giving me the time of day!

Well, after having such dismal results with online dating, I actually contemplated quitting. Maybe it just wasn’t for me… Maybe I’m just not the type of guy attractive women want to date…

Well, shortly after, and to my surprise, a stunning girl named Linda responded. So we bantered back and forth for a few days and then I finally got the nerve to ask her out.
